Chapter 1: The Power of Reflection
This year, I've adopted a routine of weekly and monthly reflections, and one pivotal question has been on my mind: How much further along would you be in your self-love journey if you had maintained that habit or routine you once promised to uphold?
This inquiry pushed me to confront some uncomfortable truths.
We often make things more complicated than they need to be.
Initially, we may feel a surge of enthusiasm, only to abandon our commitments and find ourselves back at square one. Worse yet, we end up feeling guilty about not following through.
This isn’t a critique; I’ve experienced it myself, and I know how disheartening it can be. ✋🏾
However, if you recognize this cycle in your life and wish for change, you must be willing to take different actions. I firmly believe that consistently showing up for yourself and practicing self-love every day can transform your life and your self-relationship.
But this transformation requires a commitment to investing in yourself!
