There’s a growing need for a shift in perspective. Unlike contractors who are compensated for their actual productivity, permanent staff often feel compelled to maintain a facade of busyness.
Conclusion: The Path Forward
The traditional 9-to-5 work model seems outdated. Yet, many of us are still clinging to it, failing to utilize asynchronous tools effectively. We must break free from these counterproductive habits and advocate for the flexibility that our leadership enjoys.
It’s time for companies to extend the same respect and flexibility to all employees, not just those at the top.
