Who is Sal Khan?

Salman Amin Khan, known as Sal Khan, was born in Metairie, Louisiana, on October 11, 1976, into a Bengali Muslim family. He displayed artistic talent early on, serving as the cartoonist for his high school newspaper. Enrolling in advanced mathematics courses at the University of New Orleans, he graduated as valedictorian in 1994. He furthered his education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), earning three degrees, including a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
