Reflecting on My Writing Journey: A Year-End Review

Written on

Chapter 1: A Productive Fourth Quarter

As the fourth and final quarter of the year wraps up, it's time to reflect on my writing journey over the past three months. During this period, I have published over 60 posts, marking a significant finish to the year with a total of more than 140 submissions in the latter half. This is a stark contrast to the first half of the year, where I only managed 57 posts, with June being particularly fruitful, contributing 17 of those.

My writing momentum was especially strong in August and September, which turned out to be my most productive months in two years. This resurgence allowed me to rediscover my passion for writing and regain a rhythm that had been lost.

Writing serves as a form of detox for me. After a long day, expressing my thoughts through writing is a wonderful way to relieve stress and refresh my mind. Additionally, I am striving to transition my writing from a hobby into a full-time profession. Although I know it's a challenging path, I believe there’s no harm in pursuing it, right?

As we approach the year’s end, it's essential to look back at the last quarter, spanning October to December. Below are links to some of my most successful posts during this period:

  • Looking for a Vein… In Vain
  • I Should Have Given Them to My Father
  • Peace of Mind — 4 Daily Routines To Ensure That
  • De Niro Would Not Be Proud of This Taxi Driver
  • Was it Fear or Steadfast Resolve?

For those interested in the most appreciated posts from the first quarter of the year, you can find them here. If you're looking for highlights between April and June, here’s the link. As previously mentioned, my most productive phase was from July to September—click here for a quick recap.

Happy reading, and thank you for your support!
